We believe that it is important to develop momentum on the dance floor starting with the first open dance. Our DJ's will start with a couple of slow dances and then lead a dance or two to get the party started. Experience has taught us that the order in which songs are played does make a difference in keeping the dance floor active. Because of this we usually do not play requests immediately but we try to incorporate them into the night when we think they will work best. Generally, we will play older songs early and current songs later in recognition of the trend that the older guests leave earlier. Nonetheless, we do mix up current with older tunes throughout the night.
We feel it is important that the bride and groom participate in the dance floor. After all, your guests came to party with you to celebrate your nuptials. As we say, "The bride is the show!"
Your DJ will coordinate with the banquet manager, photographer, videographer, and other professionals to ensure that your event runs smoothly. If you book music during the cocktail hour then your DJ will do the introductions of the wedding party.
Music can be provided at the ceremony, if desired, and may incur additional charges if the ceremony requires an additional setup.
